Summary About the Position: As a Program Manager at the Bonneville Operations Project you will assist with managing the operations and maintenance of the Bonneville Lock and Dam, which provides hydropower, navigation, fish and wildlife management, and recreation. You will share management and coordination of the various and diverse programs and functions of this multipurpose facility to include Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, Natural Resource Management, and Environmental Stewardship. - Manage operations and maintenance programs at the Bonneville Project.
- Serve as the as the front line supervisor and rating official for environmental compliance, safety, and security.
- Prepare and justify initial budget estimates for personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies required to carry out a safe and efficient operation and maintenance programs.
- Monitor progress, measures performance, and take necessary corrective action to maintain agreed-upon schedules and costs.
- Ensure safety procedures are in place provide a safe environment for employees and visitors.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires confidential financial disclosure annually.
- This position requires: 1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months; 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months; and 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role.
- A driver's license is required.
- This position requires personal protective equipment provided by the employer.
