Billing and Collections Specialist

Detail-oriented and data-driven, the remote Billing and Collections Specialist will manage accurate customer billing, proactive collections, and timely resolution of billing tickets in a high-volume monthly recurring revenue environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process a high volume of recurring and one-time customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to schedules Monitor accounts receivable aging, prioritize collection activities, and maintain accurate records of collection attempts and disputes Manage billing and collections tickets, providing timely resolutions and clear explanations of charges and outstanding balances Required Qualifications At least two years of experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, or a closely related accounting role Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and experience using HubSpot for customer record maintenance Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and reconciliation of large datasets Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes, payment applications, and basic general ledger accounting Experience managing customer requests through a ticketing system or structured service queue
