Neuro ICU Registered NurseThis is a 13-week contract position.Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)The Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for patients in a comprehensive stroke center. The nurse will be responsible for managing stroke patients, including ischemic and hemorrhagic cases, as well as post-neurosurgery management. This role requires a strong neurocritical care background with an emphasis on ventilated patients and dysrhythmia management.Care for stroke patients, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokesManage external ventricular drains (EVD) and lumbar drains (LD)Administer blood products and monitor vital signsProvide continuous IV sedation and manage sedation protocolsInterpret and manage dysrhythmiasWork collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for patient careMinimum of 2 years of experience in a Neuro Intensive Care UnitCurrent ACLS and BCLS certifications requiredExperience with arterial line management preferredMust pass EKG testing prior to startAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
