This role collaborates with product managers, AI/ML teams, researchers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design scalable experiences that help users effectively interact with AI-powered features and services. The designer applies user-centered design methodologies to simplify complex workflows, improve AI transparency, and build trust in intelligent systems. The UX Designer II contributes to end-to-end product design, from discovery and concept development through implementation and validation, while ensuring consistency across platforms and touchpoints.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Design AI-powered user experiences across mobile applications, responsive web platforms, conversational interfaces, and emerging digital channels.Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that simplify complex AI-driven workflows and decision-making processes.Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, product managers, and researchers to translate machine learning capabilities into meaningful customer experiences.Design conversational and generative AI experiences, including chat interfaces, copilots, virtual assistants, recommendations, and personalized user journeys.Conduct usability testing to evaluate customer interactions with AI systems and identify opportunities for optimization.Advocate for responsible AI principles, including transparency, explainability, accessibility, trust, and ethical user experiences.Contribute to cross-platform design systems that ensure consistency across web, mobile, and AI-driven user experiences.Collaborate with engineering teams during implementation to ensure design intent and usability standards are maintained.Analyze user behavior, product metrics, and research insights to iteratively improve AI-enabled experiences. Present design concepts, prototypes, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr DegreeYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ yearsYEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NACERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Click or tap here to enter certifications/licenses required or preferred.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:· Advanced proficiency in Figma and FigJam for wireframing, prototyping, documentation, and design collaboration.· Strong understanding of design system principles and component-based design. Ability to effectively use established design system components, patterns, and guidelines to create consistent and scalable user experiences.· Experience identifying gaps in existing component libraries and partnering with senior designers and engineering teams to recommend enhancements.· Experience designing AI-powered experiences, including conversational interfaces, copilots, generative AI workflows, and AI-assisted user journeys.· Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools such as Windsurf, Codex, and Claude to support design exploration, rapid iteration, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration.· Ability to design seamless experiences across web, mobile, and responsive digital platforms.· Understanding of Human-AI Interaction (HAI) principles, including user trust, transparency, explainability, and responsible AI design practices.· Experience conducting usability studies and gathering customer insights through UserTesting and other research methodologies.· Strong interaction design, information architecture, journey mapping, and problem-solving skills.· Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices.· Ability to synthesize research, analytics, and stakeholder input into actionable design solutions.· Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in an Agile product environment.This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by the individuals assigned to this job.
