Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients based on their unique challenges and goals.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, groups, couples, and families.

• Document clinical interactions and keep accurate, up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular collaboration with other mental health professionals to create a cohesive treatment environment and enhance client outcomes.

• Attend continuous learning opportunities, workshops, and professional training to stay informed about the latest research and practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele seeking support for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship challenges. You will be responsible for establishing rapport with clients from various backgrounds, utilizing your interpersonal skills to foster trust and engagement, ultimately contributing to their recovery and wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally within a clinical context.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards concerning mental health practice.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively connect with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
