Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting both individual and couple therapy sessions, focusing on understanding family dynamics and encouraging healthy communication.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of issues, including but not limited to, alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, communication difficulties, and family conflicts.
\n
• Developing tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings and client feedback, with ongoing evaluations to track progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention when necessary to support families in acute distress.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.

• Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical competencies and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus on a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of challenges faced by couples and families. Key areas of intervention will include:

• Grief Counseling
\n
• Resolving Conflicts Among Family Members

• Assisting in Blended Family Dynamics and Remarriage Issues

• Guiding Clients Through Separation and Divorce Adjustments

• Addressing Communication Difficulties specific to Mother/Daughter Relationships

• Supporting Clients Facing Job Stress and Medical Issues

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrate a commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.

• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those who have:

Compensation and Benefits\n
