Role Description The Marketing and Business Development Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Schaumburg, IL. This intern supports marketing campaigns and business development initiatives by assisting with market research, gathering competitor and industry data, and preparing reports. Daily responsibilities include helping to create marketing materials, updating CRM or lead databases, supporting outreach to prospective clients, and coordinating follow-ups with internal teams. The intern may assist with social media content, event or webinar preparations, and basic sales support activities such as drafting emails or presentations. The role involves close collaboration with marketing, sales, and operations to help drive brand visibility and new business opportunities.Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams and prospective clients.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to support lead generation, follow-ups, and preparation of sales materials.
- Candidates should possess Marketing Strategy skills to assist in planning campaigns and aligning activities with business goals.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in common office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace); familiarity with CRM or marketing platforms is a plus.
- Interest in technology, networking, or healthcare and hospitality industries is beneficial. xhyhwjd
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
