Litigation Associate

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking to build a sophisticated employment litigation practice. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of employment law matters, gain significant client exposure, and collaborate with an established labor and employment team handling complex workplace disputes and counseling matters. Responsibilities Represent employers in a variety of employment litigation matters Handle all phases of litigation, including: Case assessment and strategy Discovery Depositions Motion practice Mediation and settlement negotiations Trial preparation Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents Conduct legal research and provide practical legal analysis Advise clients regarding employment law compliance and risk management issues Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and workforce-related matters Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the California Bar 3-5 years of employment litigation experience Experience handling a broad range of labor and employment matters Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Strong organizational and case management skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Outstanding academic and professional credentials Preferred Qualifications Traditional labor law experience is a plus, but not required Experience advising employers on workplace compliance and labor relations matters Why This Opportunity Our client offers attorneys the opportunity to work on sophisticated labor and employment matters within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
