JOB SUMMARY Purpose Responsible for growing business performance through analysis of financial results, budgets, forecasts, variances, and trends; aids in capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes and performs industry research to support internal financial analysis. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Provides financial budgeting/forecasting, reporting, and project support to executive management Produces reports that include key metrics, financial results, operational performance & variance reporting Analyzes financial data and creates models for assessment Reports financial performance of company for executive management review Collaborates with accounting team to ensure accurate reporting Identifies and drives process improvements for increasing productivity Develop and provide tools & models for management to make strong business & strategic decisions Performs market research and data mining Executes special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis for management Leads the annual budgeting process Performs other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Work Experience: 5+ years of business accounting/finance in manufacturing or construction Related Experience Advanced analytical and quantitative abilities, accuracy, and precision Collaboratively focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas & functions Attention to detail Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certifications: MBA and/or CPA or equivalent Work Experience: 8+ years of business accounting/finance in manufacturing or construction Related Experience Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role Experience contributing to high-impact strategy assignments Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Precise hand/eye coordination: Constantly Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: Constantly Pushing, or pulling objects weighing over 50 lbs.: Occasionally Pushing, or pulling objects weighing over 100 lbs.: Occasionally Lifting objects weighing over 50 lbs. from the floor to waist #J-18808-Ljbffr
