About the Position

Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required License: Valid state or compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required Proficient in IV start Experience with telemetry Competency with ventilators Description: The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to critically ill patients. The nurse will monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as needed. The position requires skills in managing arterial lines, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilators. Patients will include those with cardiac issues and other critical conditions. The nurse will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. This role requires a commitment to patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols. Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must possess strong assessment and communication skills. Candidates must complete all credentialing requirements in a timely manner. Work will involve floating to different units within the organization as needed. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential.
