Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Qualifications:\n\n7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.\n\nStrong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, configuration, and customization.\n\nDeep expertise in ServiceNow Asset Management (Hardware Asset Management/Software Asset Management) and CMDB modules.\n\nStrong understanding of CI classes, CI relationships, discovery patterns, and reconciliation identification rules.\n\nExperience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration frameworks (REST/SOAP, MID Server).\n\nProficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting, including:\n\nBusiness Rules\nScript Includes\nUI Policies\nACLs\nGlideScript\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nStrong understanding of ITIL processes, including:\nIncident Management\nProblem Management\nChange Management\nAsset Management\nConfiguration Management\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Job Description\n\nWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This role focuses heavily on Asset Management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) architecture, ensuring accurate, reliable, and governed IT asset and configuration data across the enterprise.\n\nAs a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform, as well as managing and maintaining the overall health and configuration of the platform.\n\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITAM (IT Asset Management) and CMDB modules to support enterprise-scale operations.\n\nOwn CMDB data quality, CI class modeling, relationship mapping, and reconciliation processes across discovery sources.\n\nImplement and maintain Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations feeding CMDB/ITAM (e.g., network discovery, cloud/on-prem inventory tools).\n\nPartner with infrastructure, data center, and operations teams to ensure accurate lifecycle tracking of hardware, software, and data center assets.\n\nDevelop and implement custom applications, workflows, business rules, and integrations within ServiceNow to support asset lifecycle and ITSM processes.\n\nManage and maintain the overall health and configuration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, security, and data management.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, including performance tuning and upgrade impact analysis.\n\nDevelop and maintain documentation for custom applications, integrations, platform configurations, and maintenance procedures.\n\nProvide technical support and guidance to teams and stakeholders on ServiceNow-related issues and questions.
