Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Opportunity Location: Riverside, California Schedule: Full-Time Assignment Dates: Immediate Start Through End of School Year A school district in the Riverside area is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication and language development for the remainder of the school year. Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Implement treatment plans and therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP Conduct individual and small-group therapy sessions Assist with speech, language, articulation, fluency, and social communication interventions Document student performance and progress toward therapy goals Maintain accurate service logs and required documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student outcomes Prepare therapy materials and support classroom communication strategies Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions Required Qualifications Active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with students, staff, and families in a school setting Preferred Qualifications Previous school-based or pediatric experience Familiarity with IEPs and special education services Experience working with students with varying communication needs Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Weekly pay Professional support throughout the assignment Compensation for this position ranges from $27.00 to $55.00.
