Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year! This full-time contract role begins August 12, 2026, and runs through May 26, 2027, serving various elementary and middle school campuses near Cibolo, TX. With 40 hours per week on-site (no teletherapy) and no part-time slots, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school settings while supervising SLPAs.
Candidates can interview between June 16–19 in the mornings—be ready to discuss your best available day and time!
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Texas SLP licensure required (Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation)
- ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred and verification necessary if hour requirements are met
- Bilingual and monolingual applicants welcomed! (1 bilingual, 2 monolingual roles)
- Experience or willingness to supervise SLPAs and oversee case management
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 100 students, ranging from PK through 8th grade
- Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct speech-language therapy for PreK-8th students in assigned settings
- Caseloads include Hillcrest Elementary/Bonham Academy, Schenck Elementary, and Graebner/Poe Middle
- Supervise and support SLPAs (including bilingual SLPA at Hillcrest/Bonham)
- Take responsibility for case management, goal writing, ARD paperwork, conducting ARD meetings, and completing re-evaluations
- Collaborate with district teams to ensure student needs are met effectively
