Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Surgical Center, a facility designed with cutting-edge technology and a focus on patient-centered care. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical and mental health assessments through comprehensive or problem-focused examinations, maintaining a high standard of diagnostic accuracy.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate various laboratory and diagnostic tests to address patient health requirements effectively.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, employing medical therapies and interventions in accordance with approved protocols for optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in patient education, counseling about medication regimens, potential side effects, nutrition, and long-term health strategies to promote overall wellness.
• Maintain precise documentation of treatment plans, patient responses, and outcomes, ensuring transparency within clinical operations.
• Collaborate extensively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, facilitating referrals when necessary for conditions outside the scope of practice.
• Participate in managing patients in various healthcare settings beyond primary care, adapting to diverse clinical scenarios, including procedural and emergency services.
• Perform invasive procedures as permitted by your training and under the guidance of a supervising physician, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
• Be available for occasional coverage responsibilities beyond the established schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients with cardiovascular conditions, providing individualized care plans that address their unique health needs. This role demands a patient-focused approach, ensuring that all care delivered aligns with our holistic model that values each patient's experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Possession of a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• A current PA certification and an active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Georgia.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology or surgical environments.
• Demonstration of strong critical thinking, effective communication, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
• Capacity to manage time effectively within a fast-paced clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a surgical or outpatient cardiology clinic setting.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient records and streamline communication.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification acquired within the initial 30 days of employment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 140,000 and 180,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
