Key Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care following the physician's prescription, ensuring adherence to established protocols for rehabilitation and recovery.
• Conduct thorough and efficient evaluations using appropriate techniques to assess each patient's condition and functional capabilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs that align with established recovery goals, utilizing modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and observations of patient tolerance and response to therapies.
• Respond to and apply appropriate emergency procedures, prioritizing patient safety and care at all times.
• Engage in the documentation process according to departmental policies to maintain accurate records of patient treatments and outcomes.
• Participate in regular quality improvement reviews, contributing ideas and strategies for enhancing patient care practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive management of assigned patients, attending family meetings and case conferences as needed.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid New Jersey physical therapy licensure in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, with a proven track record in a rehabilitation setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive outlook, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education and interaction.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Spin Physical Therapy offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
