Project Coordinator

A flooring subcontractor in NW Houston is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage all aspects of projects. This includes owning submittals, take-off submittals, materials budgets and buyouts. Salary + Additional Benefits: $75,000-$85,000 (dependent on experience) 401K - company match Location: NW Houston, TX - fully onsite Type of Position: Direct Hire Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day project administration, including submittals, RFIs, reselections, and direct communication with clients to keep projects moving smoothly. Monitor material budgets, negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers, and document take-off revisions through RCOs to maintain accurate, real-time budget tracking. Prepare project buyouts, coordinate material orders, and schedule deliveries to optimize timing, quantities, and overall project costs. Maintain organized records and trackers for repairs and RCOs to ensure accurate documentation and project visibility. Forecast project needs, coordinate construction timelines, and proactively plan resources to keep projects on schedule. Resolve project issues quickly and effectively while maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Build and maintain vendor relationships while negotiating pricing and terms to maximize project value and protect margins.
