Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and documenting case histories from initial consultations through the entirety of the treatment journey.

• Creating individualized treatment and intervention plans based on thorough assessments of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of clients, encouraging their engagement and involvement throughout the therapeutic process.

• Monitoring clients’ progress closely and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery paths.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and medical professionals, to devise cohesive care strategies that address the holistic needs of clients.

• Following up on the treatment of clients who may be referred to inpatient care, ensuring continuity of care through consistent communication with attending healthcare providers.

• Providing support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers navigating the challenges associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A successful pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
