Helpdesk Support Technician

About the Role Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled Helpdesk Support Technician to join their fully remote IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical difficulties, providing remote assistance and ensuring swift resolution of issues. This is a crucial position for maintaining productivity across the organization. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, an excellent communicator, and excels in troubleshooting complex problems from a remote setting. You will contribute to a positive employee experience by ensuring all technical aspects of their work are smooth and efficient. Key Responsibilities Provide remote technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using remote access tools and diagnostic software. Install, configure, and update software applications remotely. Manage user accounts and permissions within the IT systems. Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external vendors. Create and maintain technical documentation and support guides for users. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a helpdesk support or IT support role. Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems and common office productivity software. Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk). Strong understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation. Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
