Medical-Surgical ICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour rotating schedule from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and experience in a medical-surgical ICU setting. This position requires expertise in managing complex patient assignments, effective communication, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated patient care.
• Assist with procedures and interventions as needed.
• Document patient care activities accurately in Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical ICU.
• Current RN license (State or Compact) required upon submission.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
