Job Description

General Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines according to work instructions, drawings, and routers.
Load materials, tools, fixtures, and programs as required.
Perform tool changes, offsets, touch-offs, and basic machine adjustments.
Read engineering drawings and understand basic GD&T and tolerances.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Complete in-process inspections and maintain required production/quality records.
Monitor machine performance, cycle time, tooling condition, and part quality.
Identify and communicate machining, tooling, program, and quality issues.
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
Work with Programming, Quality, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Maintain productivity while meeting quality and delivery requirements.

Swiss Operator

Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type machines.
Experience with Swiss turning, live tooling, and multi-operation parts preferred.
Perform tool changes, offsets, touch-offs, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience with Citizen or similar Swiss machines is a plus.

CNC Milling Operator

Set up and operate CNC vertical/horizontal milling machines.
Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining preferred.
Understand workholding, fixtures, tooling, offsets, and basic machining sequences.
Ability to identify tooling, setup, or program-related issues.

EDM Operator

Set up and operate Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM equipment.
Prepare workpieces, fixtures, electrodes, and machine parameters.
Monitor EDM operations and verify dimensional accuracy.
Experience with precision/tight-tolerance components preferred.

CNC Lathe Operator

Set up and operate CNC turning centers.
Perform tool changes, offsets, touch-offs, and basic setup adjustments.
Understand turning operations including OD/ID turning, facing, boring, threading, and grooving.
Live tooling / multi-axis turning experience is a plus.
