An Anderson, SC Law Firm is seeks an experienced personal injury paralegal.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compiles evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries, and databases
- Interview clients, third parties, and expert witnesses
- Prepare legal documents for attorney's approval
- Maintain document control system
- Oversee cases by managing files and documents
- Coordinate with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts.
- Process settlement papers and payments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience Personal Injury law
- Workers' Compensation is a plus
- Litigation experience a plus
- Case Management software experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Analyze & summarize medical records
- Dealing with Complex issues
- Legal Research and Writing Skills
- Multi-tasking
- Detail Oriented/Highly Organized
- Maintain Client Relationships
- BI-LINGUAL SPANISH is a plus
