We are seeking a driven, hands-on accounting leader to step into a highly visible role with a privately held organization in the middle of an ambitious growth chapter. The company has scaled dramatically over the past two decades, and it continues to expand through both organic growth and a steady cadence of domestic and international acquisitions. Ownership has deliberately chosen to remain independent, reinvesting in the business and in the people who built it rather than chasing outside capital. This position sits at the intersection of month-end close, the analysis behind it, and a significant systems modernization now underway, making it ideal for a professional who performs best when the ground is still moving. Successful completion of background, drug, credit, and reference checks required! Responsibilities: Lead the monthly close process and deliver accurate, timely financial statements Interpret results and surface anomalies, unusual items, and unexplained variances Drive irregularities to root cause and recommend corrective action Serve as a hands-on escalation point for accounting questions across the department Troubleshoot payables, receivables, and general ledger issues when team members hit roadblocks Own accounting and administration for corporate card and travel and entertainment spend Provide direct user support on expense processes, policies, and system access Supervise, coach, and develop two accounting professionals Partner with leadership on enterprise system implementation and related process redesign Guide the team through system transitions, testing, and new reporting requirements Build recurring analytics and dashboards for executive leadership Support integration of newly acquired entities into consolidated close and reporting routines Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA a plus CPA or public accounting background preferred, not required Proven ownership of month-end close and financial statements Prior manufacturing or distribution background required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment Patient, adaptable, and steady under pressure Clear communicator with staff and senior leadership Why You'll Love Working Here: Shape a finance function moving toward real analytics Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, and global operations High visibility with senior leadership from day one Lead a team while staying close to the work #J-18808-Ljbffr
