Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic district-wide contract position serving K-12 students. This unique opportunity spans four school buildings, offering the chance to impact a diverse student population and collaborate with motivated staff. The contract runs from late August through mid-June, aligning with the academic calendar and providing a structured yet flexible schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Vermont School Psychologist Certificate (required before start date)
- Experience working with K-12 students across multiple grade levels preferred
- Familiarity with psychoeducational assessments, intervention planning, and IEP participation
- Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills
- Ability to manage a broad caseload across several school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services district-wide, supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development
- Conduct evaluations, interpret assessment data, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and parents to address student needs and improve learning environments
- Lead and participate in crisis intervention and behavioral support teams
- Document services, maintain required records, and comply with state and federal guidelines
