Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, which include physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical backgrounds.
• Support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical issues by interpreting imaging studies and lab results.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans.
• Provide necessary intraoperative support, such as preparing the operating room and assisting with patient positioning and instrument handling.
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care that includes medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education.

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly desirable.

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant.

• Strong understanding of surgical protocols and sterile practices.
