Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Special Education Endorsement required
• Experience working with students at elementary, middle, or high school level preferred
• Comfortable adapting teaching methods and materials to meet varying needs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and families
• Dedication to promoting an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Design engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Work closely with classroom teachers, parents, and specialists
• Track student progress, maintain records, and adjust instructional techniques as needed
• Foster positive relationships to encourage social, academic, and emotional growth
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented school culture
