Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (please submit proof of current certification)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a classroom setting

• Strong commitment to fostering student growth and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement specialized instructional programs for assigned caseload (early learning elementary, middle, or high school students)
• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and regularly monitor student progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support student learning
• Employ evidence-based strategies to facilitate academic, social, and emotional development
• Maintain necessary records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
