We have positions on our Transitional Care Unit, Long Term Care or Memory Care Units.DUTIES Major job functions include performing nursing tasks to assure resident needs are met. This includes:Monitoring resident needs, condition and careAdministering medications and treatments as ordered by the physicianOrders and receives medications from the pharmacyAdmits and discharges residentsOversees TMA/NAR staffReports changes of condition to RN/Supervisor and physician as delegatedIn addition, the RN will transcribe and execute physician orders; complete documentation as required; completes fall reporting; reports any bruises, skin tears and abuse/neglect; gives report to nursing staff; follows and upholds Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies and procedures; maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA requirements, etc. Provides excellent customer service and communication to all residents/families/visitors/MD's/coworkers, etcThis position requires RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing. Must have current CPR certification. Must have a desire to work with the elderly and those in transition.
