This role is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interview techniques.

• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, and adjust these plans based on ongoing evaluations of their progress.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and other evidence-based practices to provide effective care.

• Monitor the effectiveness of therapy, providing clients with tools and strategies for long-term mental wellness and resilience.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring a seamless transition between virtual and in-person sessions when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at First Base Therapy, you will work with a diverse population that includes clients from various cultural backgrounds and differing life experiences. You will encounter individuals dealing with a wide range of challenges, from mild to severe mental health issues. Your ability to approach each case with empathy and professionalism will play a pivotal role in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• An active license in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient interaction.

Compensation and Benefits\n
