As a Recruitment Assistant, you will work closely with the Director of Recruitment to support sourcing, screening, onboarding, and administrative functions that keep our temporary staffing operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and interested in growing within recruitment or human resources. What You’ll Do Recruitment Support & Candidate Screening: Review resumes from multiple sourcing channels to assess skills, employment history, and alignment with regional hiring needs Conduct candidate screenings, including phone screens, virtual interviews, assessments, and reference checks, as directed Assist with extending job offers to selected temporary candidates in accordance with Company procedures Provide candidates with guidance and support throughout the onboarding process Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including pipeline status updates, interview progress, and detailed notes Accurately complete and process all required new-hire documentation Ensure candidate data and records are complete, accurate, and audit‑ready Partner with the Director of Recruitment to understand staffing needs, priorities, and recruiting strategies Track recruitment activity and performance metrics, entering data into KPI scorecards and reporting tools Generate routine reports summarizing recruitment activity, outcomes, and trends for internal stakeholders Assist with hiring events and job fairs, including candidate coordination and follow‑up Perform administrative and clerical tasks as assigned by the Director of Recruitment Support general recruitment operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, recruiting, or staffing support role Prior recruiting or staffing experience strongly preferred Customer service experience with professional phone and email etiquette required Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or staffing databases preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry systems JWilliams Staffing, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/Disability/Veterans).
