The TL;DR Role: Early Career Location: In-person Cleveland, OH Team: Accounting Department Mission: Responsible for the day-to-day accounting for an assigned group of commercial properties throughout the US. Tech Stack: MS Excel, MS Office products What You’ll Actually Do Reconciliations: Prepare and post bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and other ad hoc reconciliations. Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries, including year-end adjustments and monthly accruals. Accounts Payable: Monitor and review Accounts Payable weekly, ensuring invoices are coded correctly, calculating prorations, and researching discrepancies. Accounts Receivable: Manage Accounts Receivable by reviewing and posting receivables, completing collection calls, and updating internal trackers. Financial Reporting: Compile monthly, quarterly, and yearly financials for various reporting purposes. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Experience: 0-2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and customer service experience. Skills: Strong analytical skills, a good understanding of general ledger accounting, payables, and receivables, strong organizational & time management skills, professional communication skills (both written & oral), and include?
