** Position Summary: **
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks and a solid understanding of core accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger activities. Experience with project or cost accounting is highly desirable. ** Key Responsibilities: **

• Assist in managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice entry, coding, PO reconciliation and vendor payments
• Assist in Handling Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, collections, and monitoring AR aging
• Process and record vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules, including monthly amortization entries
• Maintain and update insurance schedules and deferred rent schedules
• Assist with project accounting, including tracking costs and supporting project-related reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries, including reclassifications and accruals
• Review payroll journal entries as directed by the controller.
• Assist the controller on monthly reporting and in the preparation and review of financial statements, including Income statement, Balance Sheet & Cash flow statement.
• Perform account reconciliations and support the month-end close process
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

** Qualifications: **

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of:
• * AP and AR processes
  • Financial statements and general ledger accounting
  • Journal entries and account reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
