  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, families, and therapists
  • Excellent communication, organization, and report-writing skills
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive learning environments for young children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized cognitive, social-emotional, developmental, and autism-specific assessments
  • Analyze and interpret evaluation data to inform eligibility decisions and intervention planning
  • Participate in eligibility, multidisciplinary, and IEP meetings by presenting findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to guide instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise assessment reports and documentation in accordance with guidelines
  • Contribute to early intervention strategies and multi-tiered systems of support
  • Support families with resources, strategies, and next steps following evaluations
