Industrial Painter1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (flexibility required depending on painting schedules) Pay: $18 to $23 - based on experienceResponsibilitiesMove pipes and parts into position for painting using slings and a forkliftClean grease, dirt, and debris from surfaces before paintingMask off areas that should not be coatedMix paint, epoxy, or polyurethane coatings to required specificationsLoad paint into spray equipment and connect to air supplyAdjust spray equipment to control spray pattern and pressureApply primer and finish coats using conventional or airless spray equipmentUse brushes to coat areas not accessible with spray equipmentRemove rust from metal using wire brushes or powered wire wheelsClean spray guns, hoses, and brushes with appropriate solventsMaintain inventory of paint and shop suppliesKeep work area clean and organized while following all safety proceduresRequirementsPrevious manufacturing experience requiredForklift experience requiredExperience operating industrial spray painting equipmentAbility to read and interpret a tape measureStrong attention to detail and quality standardsSafety-first mindsetAbility to work as part of a teamFlexibility to work outside normal hours when painting schedules require itAbility to work overtime as neededBenefitsMedical and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Dental Insurance9 Paid HolidaysPaid Time Off401(k) with up to a 4% Company MatchCompany-Paid Life InsuranceShort- and Long-Term Disability Coverage
