Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy plans to help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of well-being.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that encourage continuity of care at home.
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatments: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on the path to success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or post-licensure certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
