Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive interviews and evaluations of students and their families to assess their social, emotional, and economic circumstances that may hinder their access to healthcare.

• Provide therapeutic support and intervention through telehealth platforms, employing evidence-based models and trauma-informed care principles specifically tailored to address substance use disorders and trauma.
\n
• Research, refer, and advocate for community resources, including food assistance, childcare services, and healthcare options, enhancing the overall well-being of students and their families.

• React promptly to crisis situations, including instances of child abuse or acute mental health emergencies, ensuring students receive immediate and effective support.

• Monitor and track the progress of clients, adjusting care plans as necessary, and maintain diligent follow-ups to assess improvements in their situations.

• Assist students as they navigate changes in their lives, such as transitioning through illness, divorce in the family, or economic hardships, providing coping strategies and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and their families, with an emphasis on addressing the complex mental health needs of students who may be experiencing trauma, emotional distress, or behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is required.

• Minimum of two years of experience delivering mental health services, preferably in healthcare or educational settings, with demonstrated experience working with Veterans considered an asset.

• Familiarity with Department of Mental Health documentation and billing processes is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
