Trading Operations Specialist: Settlement & Compliance

Description InspereX’s Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Trading Operations Support Specialist to work with our Chicago- based Operations team. This person will monitor all regulatory trade reporting and resolves discrepancies as well as resolve all trade breaks/fails, etc. with salespeople and traders to ensure timely settlement. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the creation of new accounts, trade entry, and position balancing. This role is a member of the larger Operations team, providing support to the trading desk and sales force.

Entering transactions on a daily basis Position balancing Monitoring regulatory trade reporting Resolving trade breaks / fails Entering information for new accounts Additional duties as assigned Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field 1-3 years of financial industry experience strongly preferred SIE licensing required and Series 7 licensing strongly preferred Self-starter and quick learner who can work independently as needed Strong multitasking and prioritization skills Must be able to perform well in a fast paced and dynamic work environment Strong communication skills across media types and to all levels Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service Demonstrated proficiency in Excel InspereX is an equal opportunity employer.
