Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients, developing a clear understanding of their individual experiences.

• Utilize best practice methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, fostering an environment of support and understanding.

• Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure the highest quality of care.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT with Able Care Rehab Services, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role is critical in supporting diverse populations, including those recovering from trauma, victims of domestic abuse, and vulnerable groups such as refugees and the homeless, each of whom requires tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
