Benefits Administrator

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour on W2 (No Benefits) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Administrative Assistant to support our healthcare client in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for candidates with administrative experience and a strong understanding of government benefit programs, public assistance processes, and case management support. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing sensitive documentation and ensuring the timely processing of benefit-related tasks. Key Responsibilities Review and complete Social Security Overpayment Waivers. Process Representative Payee applications accurately and efficiently. Prepare and submit Social Security address changes. Scan, sort, and index incoming mail and related documentation. Review and approve medical invoices. Attend and participate in intake staffing meetings to support client service coordination. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Knowledge of government programs, benefits, and entitlements. Understanding of administrative processes related to public assistance and case management. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems. Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare, government, or social services environments. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Skills Experience working with Social Security-related processes and documentation. Background supporting case management or public assistance programs.
