Work Environment

The Licensed Physical Therapist position is based onsite within our rehabilitation facility located in beautiful Wellington, Florida. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies, enabling therapists to deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment programs safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive and professional working environment that prioritizes teamwork, exceptional patient safety, and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations (DTO) to identify opportunities for clinical improvements, ensuring that all staff remain informed and engaged.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, employers, and payer groups through consistent communication and proactive engagement opportunities.
• Expertly utilize clinical systems to facilitate effective documentation, precise coding, comprehensive charge capture, and follow-through on patient care orders.
• Ensure adherence to all respective State Practice Acts, Rules and Regulations, including Workers' Compensation (WC) regulations, promoting best practices in the field.
• Drive patient experience and satisfaction metrics by continually enhancing service delivery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the Physical Therapy Guidebook and execute the Perfect PT visit approach with each patient.
• Manage clinical outcomes effectively and work with staff therapists to address any outlier cases while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Facilitate clinical workflows that optimize patient capture, effectively process referrals, and manage scheduling tasks.
• Develop and execute personalized therapy plans for each patient, emphasizing early intervention and same-day evaluations whenever possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals who are sick, injured, or disabled, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care to achieve optimal recovery. This includes a diverse range of patients, from those recovering from surgery to individuals managing chronic pain or neurological conditions. By engaging with patients holistically, you will assist them on their journey to restoring mobility and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current and active licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to make sound decisions in a clinical environment.
• Exceptional customer service abilities complemented by professional communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility or similar clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Exposure to electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with documentation best practices.
• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and exhibit strong empathy and understanding of client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of USD 120,000 - 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
