Job Overview A law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Associate in Grand Rapids, MI. The associate will join a dynamic team handling a broad spectrum of patent, trademark, and other intellectual property matters, including prosecution and litigation. Responsibilities Assist the IP Practice Team with patent prosecution and IP litigation. Engage in business development activities. Practice across various segments of IP law. Requirements Registered to practice before the USPTO or eligible for the registration examination. Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state. 1-3 years of experience in intellectual property law. Technical background, preferably in computer science or electrical engineering. Excellent academic credentials. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and client service skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications USPTO registration or eligibility. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
