Compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience.

Work Environment\n

As a part of our outpatient office setting, you will work primarily in a remote capacity, conducting therapy sessions online or in the homes of clients. This flexibility allows you to create a healthy work-life balance while making a significant impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the needs of children with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Implement strategies for anger management, coping mechanisms, and social skills development to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior and aggression.
\n
• Enhance decision-making skills for both youth and their caregivers to better manage behavioral challenges at home.
\n
• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and other multidisciplinary professionals to create a cohesive support network for each client.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights, challenges, and recommendations for client care improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing services to children aged 3-20 who are facing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Your work will help support these children and their families by promoting emotional well-being and fostering healthier family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in Washington state is mandatory.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM to 7 PM), with flexibility for weekend sessions being advantageous.
\n
• Experience in providing positive behavior support and therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Familiarity and prior experience working with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to attend in-home visits and community meetings as needed.
\n
• Must pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working directly with youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges, particularly in in-home or community-based settings.
