Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each client's unique circumstances, needs, and challenges.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to support individual goals.

• Facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions, providing both individual and group therapy as appropriate.

• Collaborate routinely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure cohesive care delivery.

• Educate and involve clients' families in the treatment process, strengthening their support systems.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with all applicable laws and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay informed about best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals suffering from mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, as well as those faced with relational and familial challenges. Our clients often include vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
