Job Summary:
Grafton, Wisconsin The organization is seeking a qualified ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse for a night shift position. The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a Level III trauma center with a 136-bed facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Grafton, WI
• Schedule: Night shift, 0700-1930, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications; 3 years of ICU experience including vent/trach management, invasive line management (A-line, CVP, Swann), drains and tube management, Foley management, chest tubes, post-surgical recovery, post catherization experience, and preferred experience with fresh heart sites, CVVH, Balloon Pumps, CRRT (NxStage). Must have Wisconsin licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: NIHSS certification, experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Patient ratios: RN 1:2 (acuity-based), CNA 1:8 days, 1:17 nights
  • Support staff includes charge nurse (occasional patient assignment), unit secretary (0700-1930), intensivist 24/7, ICU-specific pharmacist (day shift only), RT 24/7, phlebotomy team, and an educator for bedside telemetry monitoring
  • Orientation includes 1 day with a nurse educator, meet and greet with the Nurse Manager, and shift with a preceptor
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • RTO approval pending manager; no on-call required
  • Scrub color: Any, no camo/denim/hoodies
  • Parking: Free
  • Note: More than 2 sick calls may lead to contract evaluation and possible termination.
