About This Role

We're seeking a dedicated childcare teacher to join our team at Huguenot UMC Preschool, where you'll play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children.

Your primary responsibilities as a childcare teacher will include:

Attending to the basic needs of our youngest students, such as feeding and diapering

Collaborating with parents and lead teachers to establish and maintain individualized schedules for each child

Fostering meaningful connections with our children through interactive play, reading, singing, and conversation

Providing support to the lead teacher as needed to ensure a smooth and engaging learning environment

School hours are 8:00-5:30, with a work schedule of M-F 12:15-5:30 for this part-time position.

A background check is required, and applicants should possess training and/or experience working with children ages 0-5, along with patience, creativity, and a genuine affection for children.

Above all, we're looking for someone with a passion for early childhood education and a willingness to grow and learn alongside our team.

While not essential, an Associate's Degree or CDA certification would be a wonderful bonus.
