Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $48.24

What You'll Do

Provide nursing care to patients on the Transplant and Med-Surg/Telemetry Units
Administer medications, including cardiac drips and wound care
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, passing EKG competency exam
Assist with procedures such as IV placements, blood draws, and chest tubes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and ST
Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
Support unit operations as needed, including float responsibilities

What You Need

Required:

Active RN license in Louisiana or where eligible
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
1+ year of current acute care RN experience
Ability to pass EKG competency exam
Strong assessment and cardiac monitoring skills

Preferred:

Experience in transplant, cardiac, or med-surg units
Flexibility to work weekends and major holidays
Effective communication and teamwork skills
