Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

12-hour shifts, 11 AM to 11 PM. Rotating weekends and holidays.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Up to date resume with 2+ years of experience in specialty
• Acute care experience
• 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Flu vaccine required during season
• NURSYS verification report showing ACTIVE Massachusetts RN license; must show all licenses (past or present)
• Drivers license with address matching demographics

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient care and progress accurately
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
