The assignment is onsite, working a full schedule throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience providing SLP services in a school environment highly preferred
• Familiarity with evaluation protocols, IEP development, and school-based documentation best practices
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention plans for students with communication and language needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, creating and implementing goals tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and ensure continuity of care
• Manage a manageable caseload well below state maximums, allowing for personalized attention and support
