Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about empowering school-aged learners are encouraged to consider this meaningful contract opportunity for the upcoming school year. This onsite position offers the chance to work with a manageable caseload—well below the state’s maximum threshold—ensuring each student receives focused, individualized support. Serving as a collaborative partner within the school team, you'll have the opportunity to make a profound impact in students’ communication development from August 2026 through June 2027.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, including evaluations and IEP implementation
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong understanding of Michigan special education requirements
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and district regulations
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services onsite to students
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports
• Consult and participate in RTI/MTSS initiatives as needed
