Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Head Start Youth Counseling Center, you will:

• Engage in thorough consultations with medical staff to discuss a range of patient care issues and develop cohesive treatment plans.

• Provide individual psychotherapy and marriage and family therapy services tailored to the unique needs of clients.
\n
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities to conduct effective interventions for families and individuals facing emotional or relational difficulties.
\n
• Refer clients to appropriate group therapy, psychiatric medication management, psychological testing, and substance abuse services as required.
\n
• Implement crisis management strategies for clients requiring immediate support.
\n
• Complete clinical documentation and charting in compliance with healthcare regulations and the organization's policies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
\n
• Participate in mental health committees and task forces to enhance program development and community outreach initiatives.
\n
• Contribute actively to internal performance improvement activities and treatment plan reviews to assure high-quality patient care.
\n
• Maintain follow-up efforts on patient attendance and comply with departmental guidelines regarding no-show policies.
\n
• Other duties as assigned to meet organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on families and individuals who experience a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and trauma-related issues. You will provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their concerns and work towards healing and growth. Many of our clients are children and adolescents, which requires a tailored approach to family dynamics and developmental considerations.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A current and valid LMFT license in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
