Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Head Start Youth Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' psychosocial issues and developing tailored treatment plans utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) software.

• Providing individual psychotherapy, marriage, and family therapy services aimed at addressing specific behavioral and relational issues.

• Facilitating referrals to appropriate services, including group therapy, psychiatric medication management, psychological testing, and substance abuse programs, ensuring clients have access to a full spectrum of care.

• Engaging in crisis management interventions to support clients facing acute challenges, employing evidence-based strategies to stabilize situations.

• Completing all clinical documentation and charting accurately and promptly, adhering to organizational policies and state regulations.

• Collaborating with the medical team and participating in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss ongoing patient care issues and share insights that improve service delivery.

Your role will primarily focus on serving families, children, and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess a valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required; however, advanced degrees in counseling, social work, or psychology are preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
